Standing inside a restaurant on top of the mountain Aksla you will have this view of the town of Ålesund. That’s dining with a view!
Well, not exactly from a rider, but nevertheless a stunning video of Norway by Morten Rustad.

Lars Westlund knows his way around in Norway: This is from Bandakslia, not far from Dalen in Telemark. Photo: Lars Westlund

Gerry Casey did the North Cape in 2010. Gerry says: “Photo is from my 2010 trip to Nordkapp, took your advice and travelled North through Sweden & Finland to Nordkapp, then a more leisurely journey South, taking in the Lofoten Islands. The photo was taken there, very close to Sildpollnes Campsite, Austnesfjord. Probably the most beautiful campsite I’ve ever been to.
Bike then was a Honda Deauville 700. Great trip! Spectacular scenery.” We couldn’t agree more.

The Eagle’s Viewpoint where you have a tremendous look over the Geiranger fjord. These images are from a trip a Danish and a few Finnish friends of ours did in June 2015. (Photo: HP/ridenorway.com)

Also Ekkerøy. During WW2, the Nazi-Germans had cannon forts on the peninsula, and you can still see the remnants today. A lot of birds too. Oh, and Renee Zellweger’s mum is from Ekkerøy. Photo: HP/ridenorway.com

Being one with nature: A good way of breaking the ice with Norwegians is to ask if you can jump into his/her ice bathl. This is from a winter rally near Stange, Hedmark County. Photo: HP/ridenorway.com
